Data Practices & Transparency
At TimeTrade, we believe you should know exactly how your family's data is handled. We prioritize security, privacy, and transparency in everything we do.
framework Native Framework Usage
TimeTrade implements the following Apple frameworks to ensure privacy and security when managing screen time and chores:
-
•
FamilyControls: Used to authorize the app as a parental supervision tool. All authorization happens through Apple's secure system prompts.
-
•
ManagedSettings: Used to enforce app shielding and screen time controls. These settings are applied locally on the device and never leave the child's phone.
-
•
DeviceActivity: Used to monitor usage duration. We only receive aggregate time data (e.g., "15 minutes of Social Media") to facilitate our reward system.
analytics What We Collect vs. What We Don't
We are committed to the principle of Data Minimization—we only collect what we need to operate TimeTrade safely and effectively.
